Images of the Floating World
On the occasion of this exhibition, visitors are taken to the Land of the Rising Sun. The most important features of the Japanese culture are gathered to make this experience a memorable trip: cherry blossom trees, The Great Wave by Hokusai, colorful fans, samurais and imaginary creatures straight out of Kuniyoshi’s prints. The venue is finally overwhelmed by a dreamy and mysterious atmosphere where the dark night sky is lighted up by a swarm of Japanese lanterns.
