Kandinsky

the Odyssey of Abstraction

Painter, poet, art theorist and one of the founders of abstract art, Vassily Kandinsky revolutionized art history with his various compositions. The exhibition is split up by the breakthrough of the invention of abstraction.

Immersed in a chromatic explosion, the visitor discovers the most significant works of this impulse of modernity up to his biomorphic creations from his last years. As it becomes closer to music, painting gradually frees itself from the constraints of representation and no longer takes the real world as a reference but rather the inner self. A true immersion in Kandinsky’s cosmos, the exhibition leads the spectator to forget his surroundings and reach a final, abstract and liberated osmosis.
